Saasha Sundaresh joined the BHI Foundation as the Foundation Operations Manager in December 2024. In this role, she oversees the foundation’s daily operations, including processing gifts and maintaining the foundation’s database. With her expertise and dedication, Saasha is instrumental in advancing the foundation’s mission to enrich the lives of those we serve.
Saasha holds a degree in Social Welfare and Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin. She brings a rich background in organizing fundraising events and creating meaningful experiences for donors and communities. Her passion for connection and service shines through in her work.
When she’s not at the foundation, Saasha enjoys sewing, staying active through sports—both as a player and a fan—and spending time with her boyfriend, Nicholas, and her beloved cat, “Cat.”

Scott Miller joined the BHI Foundation as Major Gifts Officer in August 2024. He works closely with residents to help them realize their philanthropic goals in alignment with BHI’s mission. Scott’s previous experience includes roles as Development Director for the American Diabetes Association and Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Moore DM. He also spent 10 years with the American Legion National Headquarters.
Scott is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom, having served in the United States Marine Corps from 2000 to 2009, including time in Afghanistan. He holds degrees in criminal justice and psychology from Purdue University.
In his free time, Scott enjoys coaching his son’s baseball team, camping, hiking, and spending time with his girlfriend and their dog, Yeti Rose’.
Brian Pangle transitioned to the VP of Philanthropy & Development role with the BHI Foundation in June 2023, following over a decade as President & CEO of Clark Retirement Community, a BHI Senior Living affiliate. During his time at Clark, Brian also served as President of the Clark Foundation and played a key role in two comprehensive campaigns that raised $12 million. In his current role at the BHI Foundation, Brian oversees and grows the philanthropic efforts across BHI Senior Living.
Before joining BHI, Brian held positions with Select Medical Corporation and Corewell Health in financial and operational roles. He began his career as a CPA with EY and earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys traveling with his wife, Betsy, visiting their five children and grandchildren, playing golf, and indulging in leisure travel.
